The Tufnell Park Promise
The Tufnell Park Promise is a list of achievements and activities that all pupils have the opportunity to experience during their time with us. We ensure this through our curriculum offer and enrichment programme (from Sept 2021). We aim to keep the list current and expand where necessary, reflecting the changing times.
During your time with us at Tufnell Park, you will have the opportunity to:
- Design your own computer game or programme
- Take part in blogging, web-posting and podcasting
- Take part in and/or help produce at least one school performance involving technology
- Have a piece of artwork exhibited in the school galleries
- Contribute to a large scale collaborative piece of art
- Grow and harvest plants, and look after animals in the school grounds
- Cook many healthy meals
- Take part in a school debate and elections
- Meet a published author
- Experience at least two residential trips outside of London with your class
- Play a musical instrument in a school concert
- Participate in a wide range of traditional and non-traditional sports and physical activity
- Learn to sing and dance
- Learn to swim
- Learn to ride a bicycle safely in the local streets
- Mentor another pupil
- Experience the world of work
- Experience at least 11 activities that represent the best in London culture
