Survey Results – What A Great Team!

Thank you so much everyone, we are overwhelmed by your participation in the recent home learning survey, it’s fantastic that so many of you took precious time out, not only to complete it, but also to add really meaningful and helpful feedback. 

I wanted to also take a moment to say, YOU are all doing an amazing job at home. We fully realise you guys are not teachers, fitting in home schooling amongst all the ups and the  downs that COVID has thrown at you is nothing short of humbling for us at the school. Give yourselves a pat on the back and a smile, you all deserve it!

 It’s great that a large proportion of you felt confident accessing the tools in place and that you had sufficient understanding of where and how to gather further information. In addition, the level of support in relation to class learning was noted as high from many respondents. Interaction (live / 1:1) was a key theme mentioned, we are working closely with the borough and the specific guidelines on how to optimise this area in future.As always, the on-line safety of children and parents is paramount, along with that of the teaching staff. It’s a complex issue that needs a lot of consideration. We really want to get fully back in contact with you all too!

 As a school, we are also working on the other points raised, which were ‘feedback’ and ‘acknowledgement of the children’s work’, again this takes some level of coordination to ensure it works well and delivers what you as parents would like to see and what your children need. But very importantly does not overburden the class teachers who already have a very full plate.
