2026 Summer Fair Update
Updated: 6 July
The fair will take place on the 11th of July from 1:30 – 5:00pm.
It is becoming another exciting Summer Fair. We have 70 parents and staff helping out. A huge thank you to everyone!
There is still plenty to be done before the event. We will be doing some set up on Thursday and Friday evening, as well as starting around 10:00am setting up the actual stalls. Reach out to your class rep if you can give a hand.
Marina or I will continue to reach out to many of you, as we progress with the planning.
Like last year, additional gazebos will be helpful.
Please don’t forget to bring you water bottle.

Areas where we need help:
- Raffle sales team — selling tickets at drop-off and pick-up before the fair. Helping here makes a huge difference in the amount of funds we raise from the raffle.
- The mobile bar needs volunteers
- Printing and hanging posters
- Printing and cutting tokens
- We will need volunteers Thursday and Friday evening and Saturday morning to help set up.
- Resource room — there is a lot of behind the scenes work needed here, requiring multiple days and a few volunteers
- Clean-up after the fairs is a significant effort. We need a team to commit to staying after and making sure that the school will be in shape to have class on Monday.
Here is where we are at:
- Marco and Adrian are will bring back the smoothie stall
- Marco, Vacko & Rui are going to do a BBQ of burgers and lamb skewers
- Sam will be leading on a curry chicken plate like last year, with some sides – Kim & Sam’s famous mac & cheese and some slaw.
- Natalie is leading face painting and will be coordinate arts & crafts lead.
- Martina and Athena are approaching local shops for raffle prizes, as they’ve done in previous years.
- Jude and Martin are pulling the band together.
- Magnus will do the token design.
- Zoe is handling posters and communications.
- Sarah S will manage the Lucky Dip bags.
- Zoe will run the luck dip bag stall
- Raph has offered to run Splat the Rat
- Susi will coordinate the piazza eating area.
- Nerida & Svetlana have offered to lead the recycling and waste reduction efforts.
- Tim, Anna & Rich will be working with Sam to organise games on the pitch.
- Jessica will be running the ice lolly stall
- Dan the Panto man will be showing up with a Panto stall
- We will have a bracelet stall let by Ruby and some Y5s & Y6s.
- Tom has offered to help with raffle sales before the event – we will need more people if we are to be able to do this.
- Lily will manage the bottle tombola.
